When you use Alex, you agree to these Terms.
Alex is an AI-powered companion. He’s friendly—but not a doctor, therapist, or crisis line.
All conversations are recorded and stored to help improve Alex, protect users, and ensure safety.
If someone else (like your adult child) enrolled you in a sponsored plan, they may be notified if Alex flags something serious.
Billing happens in 6-second increments. You’re only charged while the call is active.
We don’t sell your personal info. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve Alex and support our mission.
Use of Alex is at your own discretion. If you’re in a crisis, please call a human professional.
We’re not responsible for emotional outcomes—and you can stop using Alex any time.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AlexListens.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site or services.
2. Description of Service
AlexListens is an AI-powered platform offering emotionally supportive, non-therapeutic conversation via voice and/or text. A complimentary 7-minute introductory session is provided to new users at no cost. Basic registration is required to personalize the experience. However, no payment method is collected, and users are not enrolled in a billing cycle. This session is not considered a “free trial.”
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use AlexListens. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian. If you enroll someone else (e.g., your parent or loved one) in a sponsored plan, you confirm that you have legal authority and their informed consent.
4. Data Recording & Usage
All interactions with Alex are recorded, stored, and monitored to:
Ensure platform safety and compliance,
Improve performance and responsiveness,
Provide support if concerns are raised (especially in sponsored accounts),
Protect the company from liability.
By using Alex, you explicitly consent to this recording and usage.
5. Sponsored & Caregiver Plans
If you are enrolled under a plan paid for by someone else (a “sponsor”):
The sponsor may receive alerts if Alex detects emotionally concerning language patterns or behaviors.
These alerts are limited in scope and will not include full transcripts unless explicitly authorized.
Sponsors agree to hold FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC harmless for any good-faith communications made in response to these alerts.
6. Founding Member Pricing Guarantee
If you subscribed to any plan during our Founding Member period, your pricing is grandfathered for the lifetime of your subscription, as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
This means:
Your monthly rate will not increase, even if standard pricing changes for new members.
This guarantee applies to the specific plan you’re subscribed to (Basic, Premium, or any other tier offered at the time of enrollment).
However, please note:
If your subscription is canceled, paused, or interrupted, reactivation may be subject to the then-current pricing.
If a plan is discontinued or replaced in the future, we reserve the right to migrate your subscription to an equivalent plan with comparable features and value, while honoring your grandfathered rate whenever reasonably possible.
If significant and unforeseen changes in technology, infrastructure, legal compliance, or operating costs occur, we reserve the right to adjust pricing for all users. Should this become necessary, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance written notice and the option to cancel without penalty.
We created this guarantee to thank you for your early support and trust in Alex. Your membership helps us build a more connected world—and your rate reflects that trust.
7. Billing Increments
All usage of AlexListens is measured in Moments (where 1 Moment = 1 minute of conversation time).
However, billing occurs in 6-second increments, so you only use what you need.
As long as your call with Alex is active, the clock keeps ticking.
You're in control—just click “End Call” when you're done, and the billing stops immediately.
For example, a conversation lasting 3 minutes and 18 seconds would deduct 3.3 Moments (198 seconds) from your account.
8. Use of Aggregated, Anonymized Data
While we never sell your personal conversations or call logs, you acknowledge and agree that we may use or monetize anonymized, aggregate-level data derived from your interactions with Alex.
This data may be used to:
Create behavioral insight reports,
Improve Alex’s intelligence and user experience,
Support wellness research or partner organizations aligned with our mission.
No data shared will ever personally identify you or include raw conversation content linked to your identity.
9. AI Limitations & Disclaimers
Alex is not a human. He is powered by AI and machine learning technology.
Alex is not a licensed therapist, doctor, crisis responder, or legal advisor.
Conversations with Alex should never be considered medical or professional advice.
If you are in a crisis or at risk of harm, do not rely on Alex. Contact emergency services or a real human professional immediately.
10. Account Security & Conduct
You are responsible for your account access. You agree to:
Keep login credentials secure,
Refrain from impersonating others,
Not use Alex to harass, harm, or manipulate others (or the system),
Use the platform only as intended and within legal bounds.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, and intellectual property associated with AlexListens is owned by FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC. You may not use or reproduce it without written permission.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time and for any reason, including—but not limited to—violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
AlexListens is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties—express or implied—regarding uptime, availability, emotional benefit, or accuracy of responses.
14. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages—emotional, incidental, indirect, or consequential—that may result from your use of Alex. You accept full responsibility for your experience on the platform.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from your use of the platform.
16. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of Alex after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

AlexListens offers a no-cost, 7-minute introductory conversation to new users. This introductory access does not require a credit card, does not automatically transition into a paid plan, and is not considered a “free trial” under typical subscription models. 20. User Submissions
By submitting any feedback, testimonials, audio samples, emails, or other content to AlexListens, you grant FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, publish, and adapt that content for promotional or product development purposes. You confirm you have the rights to share any content you submit.
21. Linking and Framing
You may link to AlexListens.com provided the link does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. You may not frame or embed this site or its content without prior written permission.
22. Testimonial Disclaimer
Individual experiences may vary. AlexListens is not a substitute for medical or psychological care, and we make no guarantees regarding emotional or behavioral outcomes.
